张金铭，杭州人，著名军旅书画家，博士研究生学历，毕业于中国美术学院、中国艺术科学院，书法获硕士学位，国画获博士学位，后又受部队委派入解放军后勤学院学习深造。中国文化形象大使，央媒组委会艺术顾问，央广国际文化交流委员会副主席，人民艺术家。任解放陆军步兵学院教授，中央美院教授，清华大学美院教授，中央国家机关书法家协会会员、美术家协会会员，中国书协会员，中国书画家协会副主席，香港文联美术家协会副主席，北京世纪釆风书画院副院长。书画作品被中国国家博物馆收藏，中国美院、中国美术馆、海内外社会名流、国家领导人收藏，为军队和各地方题写了许多石碑和字牌。

Zhang Jinming, a native of Hangzhou, is a famous military calligrapher and painter with a Ph.D. degree, graduated from the China Academy of Art and the Chinese National Academy of Arts, received a master’s degree in calligraphy, and a doctorate in Chinese painting, and was later assigned by PLA to study at the Logistics College of the CPLA. He is an ambassador of Chinese culture, an artistic advisor of the Central Media Organizing Committee, the vice chairman of the CGTN’s International Cultural Exchange Committee, and a “People’s Artist”. He is a professor at the Army Infantry College of PLA, the Central Academy of Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, a member of the Calligrapher’s Association of the Central State Organs, the Artist’s Association of the Central State Organs, the China Calligraphers Association, a vice-chairman of the China Calligrapher and Painter Association, the HKL&A Artists Association, and the Beijing Shi Ji Cai Feng Painting and Calligraphy Institute. His works of calligraphy and painting are collected by the National Museum of China, the China Academy of Art, the National Art Museum of China, celebrities at home and abroad, and national leaders. He has also inscribed numerous stone monuments and plaques for the military and various localities.
